Nomination papers are now available for the upcoming May 15th, 2017 election in the Town of Shelburne. Last day to obtain Nomination papers will be Friday March 24th, 2017. Nomination papers must be returned to the Office of the Town Clerk by 5:00pm on Monday 2017.
Offices up for re-election are as follows:
Selectmen â€“ 3 year term
Assessor â€“ 3 year term
Moderator â€“ 1 year term
Town Clerk â€“ 1 year term
Planning Board â€“ 5 year term
Recreation Committee â€“ 5 year term, and one for an unexpired term to 2021
Two Shelburne Free Public Library Trustees - both 3 year terms
Tree warden â€“ 1 year term
MTRSD School Committee â€“ One member 3 year term, a second for an unexpired term to 2019.
Also, The last day to register for the May 2nd Annual Town Meeting is Wednesday, April 12th, 2017. Hours that day will be from 2-4pm and 7-8pm.
Last day to register to VOTE at the Annual Shelburne Town Election is April 26th, 2017. Hours that day will again be 2-4pm and 7-8pm.
